Retirement fund physique EPFO has prolonged the date for submitting functions to go for the next pension until June 26, 2023. In order to offer a bigger window of alternative and as a way to allow all eligible individuals to file their functions, the timeline for submitting functions would now be until June 26, 2023, in accordance with a press release.
“The EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation) has made arrangements for obtaining applications for validation of option/joint option from pensioners/members as per the Supreme Court order on November 4, 2022,” the labour ministry stated in a press release. To facilitate this course of, a web based facility has been made out there. More than 12 lakh functions have been acquired to this point.
The on-line facility was to stay out there solely until May 3, 2023. In the meantime, many representations have been acquired from numerous quarters looking for an extension of time.
