A lady was fatally shot for reportedly consuming alcohol on the grounds of a gurdwara. The incident occurred on Sunday evening, based on Patiala Senior Superintendent of Police Varun Sharma.
The girl, Parminder Kaur, was allegedly consuming liquor close to the “Sarovar” (holy water tank) of Dukhniwarn Sahib gurdwara, police stated.
The 32-year-old girl, a resident of Urban Estate Phase I, was shot many occasions by Nirmaljit Singh, a frequent customer to the Gurdwara.

“Parminder Kaur was having liquor near the Sarovar of Gurdwara Dukhniwarn Sahib. When the sangat noticed this, they decided to take her to the manager’s office. However, one person, Nirmaljeet Singh Saini, present there shot her in a fit of anger,” Mr Sharma stated.
“Saini fired five rounds at the woman with his 32-bore licenced revolver,” an official assertion stated.
Police claimed that regardless of being transferred to a hospital, Ms. Kaur’s medical doctors dominated her useless. According to sources, a person who was damage within the occasion was hospitalised. His situation is alleged to be secure.
According to officers, the accused, a property supplier with no historical past of legal exercise, has been detained by police.
