YouTube might have this convenient characteristic very quickly

YouTube has added new options for Shorts on cell which has made it a preferred rival to Instagram’s Reels and TikTook.

YouTube has began testing Q&A stickers for Shorts on cell.

“To make it even simpler for Shorts creators to construct communities with their audiences, we’re experimenting with stickers that permit creators to ask questions of their viewers,” the company said on the ‘YouTube test features and experiments’ page.

Creator’s questions can be customised and viewers can reply via comments. “Audience responses are visible to other viewers who can see them when reading comments posted on the Short where the sticker was used,” the platform mentioned.

This characteristic is at present rolling out to a small share of creators.

While the viewers will have the ability to see the stickers throughout all units, they will be unable to faucet on these stickers on a desktop or TV.

The firm had first introduced this characteristic for YouTube Shorts earlier this month and mentioned that it could quickly roll out the characteristic.

Meanwhile, the video-sharing platform has introduced that it’s testing a brand new, computerized method to establish key ideas lined in educational studying movies and floor extra details about these ideas within the type of pictures and quick textual content snippets in real-time — immediately on the video’s watch web page.

“Creators have the choice to opt-out of ‘Key Concepts’ on the video degree in YouTube Studio (on Desktop go to Content > Details [for a particular video] > Select ‘Show More’ > Uncheck ‘Allow automatic concepts’),” the company said.

For now, this is being tested on a small set of English-language videos related to educational topics taught in schools. “The experiment will take place on mobile only, for a limited number of people watching YouTube,” it added.
