The firm didn’t disclose the variety of customers affected by the disruption. Outage monitoring web site Downdetector.com confirmed greater than 100,000 incidents within the United States, 24,000 in Canada and over 56,000 in Britain.
More than 180,000 customers reported points with accessing Instagram on the peak of the outage.
Instagram was down for some customers on Sunday from round 5:45 p.m. EST (2145 GMT), based on outage monitoring web site Downdetector.com. The variety of outages eased to simply over 7,000 studies as of 8:30 p.m. EST.
