Team India batters may not be having the best outing in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup but another factor that is going against them has been the toss, which is becoming quite a big factor in deciding the results. Virat Kohli’s luck continued to run away from him as he lost his third straight toss in the tournament and 13th in the last 14 games.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and chose to bowl in India’s first game, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and did the same on Sunday and the trend continued on Wednesday as Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi called right and India were batting for the third game in a row.
However, this time Kohli wasn’t too perturbed with having to bat first even though he wanted to bowl first as well. The 32-year old reckoned that it isn’t bad against a side like Afghanistan, who like to bat first and then their bowlers come into the equation.
