Kolkata Knight Riders have introduced in 16-year-old Afghanistan spinner Allah Ghazanfar to exchange the injured Mujeeb Ur Rahman for this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise confirmed this information on Thursday. Ghazanfar, who signed up with KKR for INR 20 lakh, displayed his expertise on the 2024 U-19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa earlier this 12 months.

Allah Ghazanfar has represented Afghanistan in two ODIs. The younger cricketer has additionally been in three T20 matches and 6 List A matches. In these video games, he took 5 wickets in T20s and 4 wickets in List A matches.

On the opposite hand, Keshav Maharaj, a left-arm spinner from South Africa, has joined the Rajasthan Royals (RR) as a substitute for the injured Indian quick bowler, Prasidh Krishna.
