The Maratha quota protest chief had earlier issued a stern warning, declaring his intent to steer a large protest to Mumbai’s Azad Maidan if the federal government failed to fulfill their calls for. “If the government does not agree, then we will show what we can do,” Mr. Patil had asserted.

Who is Manoj Jarange Patil?

A farmer with a matriculation schooling, Jarange has been an integral a part of the Maratha quota agitation for almost 15 years. Hailing from Maharashtra’s Beed district, he presently resides in Ambad in Jalna district, the place he has been main the agitation.
