The DMRC introduced that passengers of the Delhi Metro can now carry two sealed bottles of alcohol on the Delhi Metro trains, a rule which is contradicting the excise coverage of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, linked to Delhi by way of metro.
This implies that all Delhi Metro passengers should be prepared for random police checks of their baggage after they get off the practice at stations in Noida and Gurugram. NCR stations are more likely to have strict safety checks since this rule has been carried out.
How many liquor bottles can you carry in Delhi Metro, Gurugram and Noida?
The DMRC has allowed passengers to carry two sealed bottles of liquor aboard the Delhi Metro. However, this rule will not be allowed in Uttar Pradesh, which implies that the passengers can land in hassle.
According to the UP excise coverage, an individual is simply allowed to carry one bottle of liquor into the state, that too unsealed. Further, Noida’s Aqua Line in the metro doesn’t enable any alcohol, which implies that bottles from the Blue Line have an opportunity of getting confiscated.
