Reports state that the explosion was as a result of a suspected cylinder blast and the injured have now been taken to the hospital.

At least four individuals had been injured in a blast reported at Bengaluru’s widespread Rameshwaram Cafe outlet in Whitefield on Friday, in line with preliminary reviews.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Whitefield, confirmed the explosion.

Police groups and hearth brigade groups rushed to the positioning and had been seen analysing the after results of the explosion.

Shattered glass and furnishings had been seen strewn on the ground of the cafe, which is a giant draw amongst residents.

The space was secured by Police and Fire Brigade groups and the injured had been hospitalised.

“We received a call of an explosion at the Rameshawaram cafe, we reached the spot, and analysed the situation,” a Whitefield Fire Station official stated.

Police have begun an investigation to establish the precise explanation for the blast.

The Rameshwaram Cafe is likely one of the widespread hangouts and is often extraordinarily crowded throughout lunch hours. Further particulars are awaited.
