Elections 2024: The Election Commission has introduced the dates for polls in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar is holding a press convention to announce the schedule. The end result will probably be introduced on third December 2023.Â
Madhya Pradesh: seventeenth November
Rajasthan: twenty third NovemberÂ
Chhattisgarh: 7 and seventeenth November
Telangana: thirtieth November
Mizoram: seventh November
The voter checklist will probably be introduced on October 17. Madhya Pradesh will elect legislators for 230 constituencies, Rajasthan for 200 constituencies, Telangana for 119 constituencies, Chhattisgarh for 90 constituencies and Mizoram for 40 constituencies.
The Congress is at present in energy in 2 states- Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, whereas the BJP is ruling in Madhya Pradesh. In Telangana, the KCR-led Bharat Rashtra Samiti is in cost, and in Mizoram, the Mizo National Front (MNF) is in cost.
An observer assembly was convened by the Election Commission on Friday to draft a plan for a peaceable election. Police, normal, and expenditure screens from the EC met to debate streamline the plan in order that the mannequin code is carried out and that monetary issues don’t distort the taking part in discipline.
