Ayodhya lights up with over 24 lakh diyas for Diwali celebrations

Over 24 lakh conventional diyas illuminated town concurrently at 51 ghats of the Saryu river, setting a world file.

Ayodhya marked the seventh ‘Deepotsav’ or Diwali celebration with grandeur and enthusiasm, organized by the Uttar Pradesh authorities. The festivities commenced with an impressive Deepotsav procession that includes 18 divine tableaux depicting the lifetime of Lord Ram. The procession, ranging from Udaya Square and culminating at Ram Katha Park, showcased the inventive expressions of religion from artists throughout numerous states.

The under-construction Ram Temple was adorned for the event, and devotees gathered on the Ram Janamabhoomi to supply prayers to Lord Ram. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh flagged off the procession, expressing confidence in setting a brand new world file for lighting essentially the most diyas.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel actively participated in pulling a chariot symbolizing Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. More than 25,000 volunteers have been mobilized to mild the diyas concurrently, and the occasion was overseen by a workforce from the Guinness Book of World Records.

 

 

 

Chief Minister Adityanath obtained a certificates for this feat, underscoring the grandiosity of the Deepotsav. The occasion attracted envoys from over 50 nations, contributing to the worldwide resonance of Ayodhya’s cultural message.

 

 

Speaking on the event, Adityanath mirrored on the transformation of Deepotsav from a neighborhood celebration to a major nationwide and worldwide occasion over the previous seven years. He credited the development of the Ram Temple as a pillar for the institution of ‘Ram Rajya,’ asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid its basis because the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

In a gesture of unity, folks from numerous areas, together with tribals from Jharkhand’s Pakur district, attended the grand Deepotsav. A bunch of 48 tribals, despatched by The Jharkhand Pradesh Shri Ram Janaki Charitable Service Trust, arrived barefooted to take part within the festivities.
