Accused Sahil taken to homicide spot to recreate crime scene

The Delhi Police on Wednesday recreated the scene of crime on the identical bylane in northwest Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy the place 20-year-old Sahil killed a minor lady, officers stated. Sahil was arrested from Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. We recreated the scene of the crime to understand and establish the sequence of events and how he executed the crime and what he did thereafter,” a senior police officer.

Sahil allegedly threw away the knife used to kill Sakshi into the bushes in Rithala. It is but to be recovered, he stated. The police had earlier stated Sahil received drunk on Sunday afternoon and within the night confronted Sakshi, who was on her method to the celebration of her good friend’s little one after altering garments in a public comfort.

After killing her, Sahil went to a close-by park and sat there for some time. Later, he went to the metro station at Rithala the place he claimed to have thrown the knife within the close by bushes. He then took a bus to Bulandshahr from the Anand Vihar ISBT, the police stated. A name to his dwelling led to his arrest.
