NEW DELHI: Social media platform X’s head of policy for India and South Asia, Samiran Gupta on Saturday resigned, sources advised Reuters.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Gupta held the highest-ranking place for X, previously often known as Twitter, in India.
He was tasked with overseeing essential content-related policy issues and advocating for Twitter’s stance in mild of rising policy modifications, in addition to offering assist to the native gross sales group.
Gupta’s tenure at X resulted in September, in keeping with Gupta’s LinkedIn profile, which mentioned he “enabled transition leadership for Twitter post acquisition by Elon Musk led X-Corp.”
