NEW DELHI: The nation’s largest non-public sector lender HDFC Bank on Tuesday mentioned the Reserve Bank has authorised the re-appointment of its managing director Sashidhar Jagdishan for a interval of three years with impact from October 27.

The RBI vide its communication dated September 18, 2023, “has approved the re-appointment of Sashidhar Jagdishan as the managing director and chief executive officer of the Bank for a period of 3 years with effect from October 27, 2023 to October 26, 2026,” the financial institution mentioned in a regulatory submitting. The board of the financial institution shall be convened sooner or later to provide impact to the above-mentioned appointment, it mentioned.
