HRA calculations categorise cities into varieties X, Y, and Z based mostly on Census knowledge and different elements. As per the 7th Pay Commission’s suggestions, HRA was adjusted to 24%, 16%, and 8% of the essential pay for X, Y, and Z cities, respectively, ranging from July 1, 2017.
