Indian college students can be educated on AI, cloud and different rising tech

Oracle has introduced that it will help the coaching of 200,000 college students in India in Cloud, information science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and different rising applied sciences.

The firm and Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) have launched a specialised programme underneath the state’s large ability enhancement initiative, Naan Mudhalvan, to supply employment-linked coaching to college students within the state.

“Tamil Nadu ranks among one of India’s top 12 states with a growing youth population. As part of our responsibility to provide youth and young professionals with a platform to upskill themselves and achieve their career goals, we launched Naan Mudhalvan,” mentioned J. Innocent Divya, MD, TNSDC.

Teachers and academicians will ship the coaching as a part of the curriculum on campus.

Specific modules can be provided as a digital studying expertise by Oracle MyLearn.

The programme will present college students and professionals with a basis in Cloud computing and a greater understanding of different core ideas similar to AI, ML, information science or blockchain, the corporate mentioned.

Since the introduction of this initiative, over 60,000 college students representing engineering, arts, and science streams from greater than 900 schools throughout the state have registered to take part within the programme.
