Sanju Samson’s father has criticized the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) for singling out his son and has referred to as on different cricket boards to supply the gifted batsman with alternatives.
The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) is going through severe allegations as Vishwanath, Sanju Samson’s father, claims that the affiliation is plotting against his son. This declare follows Samson’s exclusion from the Vijay Hazare Trophy group.
At first, the explanation given for Samson’s absence from the squad was his failure to attend a required coaching camp. However, as time went on, the connection between Samson and the KCA soured. This rising divide turned much more evident when cricket boards from Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu confirmed curiosity in signing Samson, resulting in hypothesis about his potential exit from the Kerala group.
In an interview with Sports Tak, Sanju’s father turned emotional and shed tears whereas speaking about his son’s reference to the KCA.
“I knew about six months ago that they are planning something against Sanju. KCA were plotting things in a way that he left Kerala. We couldn’t fight with them. There are directors there. You can’t talk back to them, you can’t challenge them. My child is not safe. They will put the blame on Sanju for everything and people will believe them too. So I really want that my son stops playing cricket for Kerala. If any state wants to give my son a chance, saying ‘Sanju, come and play for us’, I am willing to make that appeal,” Samson Viswanath informed Sports Tak.
His son has devoted his life to cricket, in line with Viswanath, a retired soccer participant and former police policeman. He acknowledged his worries and his want for Sanju to sever his reference to the KCA. He mentioned Sanju could be glad to go away Kerala if different cricket boards provided them alternative.
“Sanju is only an individual, whereas the KCA is a big, powerful association. I am afraid they’ll come up with conspiracy theories against my son. I don’t know why they are after us. We didn’t do anything wrong to them or anyone else for that matter. Sanju, in his life, has never enjoyed anything else apart from cricket. Except for cricket ground and practice, he has focused on nothing else. He has devoted 30 years of his life to cricket, but he is being isolated now. I have had enough; want to get him out of this association (KCA),” added Viswanath.
Samson is a component of the India T20I squad, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, for the five-match sequence which started on January 22. The wicketkeeper-batter is at present in Kolkata, the place India is enjoying the primary T20I at Eden Gardens.
