The much-awaited IPL 2025 is ready to begin on March 23, BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla revealed on Sunday. While Shukla had advised mediapersons that the IPL would begin from March 23, a senior GC member clarified that it might begin both on March 20 or 21. The 10 franchises of IPL, together with CSK and RCB, have already picked their squad throughout the mega public sale in Jeddah on November 24 and 25 final 12 months. This 12 months would be the 18th season of the cash-rich league.

IPL to comply with ICC’s Code of Conduct laws from 2025 season

“From now on, ICC’s sanctioned penalties will be imposed for Level 1, 2 or 3 offences. Till date, IPL had its own Code of Conduct but going forward, Playing Conditions will be followed as per ICC T20I regulations,” an IPL GC member advised PTI on situations of anonymity. Meanwhile, the 4 centres the place Women’s Premier League matches will likely be held are: Lucknow, Mumbai, Baroda and Bengaluru.
