The Indian cricket group, led by Rohit Sharma, is presently competing in the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 match towards Afghanistan. They are carrying black armbands in honor of the late former India quick bowler, David Johnson, who tragically handed away on Thursday, June 20.

David Johnson was born on October 16, 1971. He had a short however impactful profession as a world Indian cricketer, gaining recognition for his quick bowling talents. Johnson represented the Indian cricket group in two Test matches in 1996, making his debut towards Australia.
