Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav shine as India outclass Bangladesh by 50 runs in Super 8 clash


India maintained their unbeaten streak in the match with a scientific win over Bangladesh in Antigua.

India continued their undefeated streak in the continuing T20 mega occasion with a commanding victory over Bangladesh on Saturday. Led by Rohit Sharma, the Indian crew secured a 50-run win, bringing them one step nearer to the semi-finals of the 2024 T20 World Cup. 

Opting to bat first, India posted a formidable whole of 196 for five in 20 overs, propelled by Hardik Pandya’s spectacular 50 not out off 27 balls. Tanzim Hasan (*50*) stood out as the highest bowler for Bangladesh, ending with figures of two for 32 in his 4 overs.

India maintained their dominance in the second innings, successfully containing Bangladesh to 146 for 8. Kuldeep Yadav emerged as the main wicket-taker for the 2007 champions, claiming 3 for 19, whereas Jasprit Bumrah additionally delivered a stellar efficiency with 2 for 13.
