A girl workers at a pores and skin and hair clinic in Hyderabad, who allegedly stole a diamond ring worth Rs 30.69 lakh from a buyer, flushed it down a bathroom commode out of worry of getting caught, police stated on Monday.
During the course of the investigation, police recovered the ring from the pipeline connecting the commode with the assistance of a plumber and the lady worker was subsequently arrested for “theft”, they stated.
According to police, the complainant (a girl) visited the clinic situated within the posh Jubilee Hills final week for hair removing and the lady workers, who took up the hair removing process, requested her to maintain the ring in a field which she did.
It was solely after reaching her home that the complainant realised that she forgot her ring on the clinic and enquired with the workers about it and later lodged a police criticism, a police official stated.

After police took up an investigation and questioned the workers, the lady worker (who picked up the ring) reportedly confessed to police that she had “stolen” the ring and stored it in her purse. But she added that she later threw it within the commode of the washroom situated within the clinic scared of getting caught by police, the official stated.
