Last 12 months, IAS Rinku Dugga alongside together with her IAS husband Sanjeev Khirwar, landed in an issue after a newspaper report that they emptied a stadium of athletes in Delhi to stroll their canine. Soon after the information went viral, the Centre had transferred the duo out of Delhi. And now, IAS Dugga has been compulsorily retired by the federal government, sources stated on Wednesday, PTI reported.
Who is IAS Rinku Dugga?
IAS Rinku Dugga is a 1994-batch AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre officer. The 54-year-old was at present posted as Principal Secretary, Indigenous Affairs in Arunachal Pradesh. Her husband IAS Khirwar is additionally a 1994-batch IAS officer and is at present posted in Ladakh.
Dugga has been retired compulsorily beneath the Fundamental Rules (FR) 56(j), Rule 48 of Central Civil Services (CCS) Pension Rules, 1972 after an evaluation of her service report, the sources stated. The authorities has the fitting to retire any authorities servant “if it is of the opinion that it is in the public interest to do so”, they stated.

Last 12 months, it was claimed that for the IAS couple to stroll their canine in a Delhi stadium, the athletes and coaches and so on. had been faraway from the stadium at 7 pm. The couple used to stroll the canine on the observe constructed for athletes. However, the duo had clarified that they used to go there solely after the stadium was closed.
After the information went viral, the central authorities instantly transferred Sanjeev Khirwar and his spouse Rinku Dugga out of Delhi. IAS Khirwar was despatched to Ladakh, whereas his spouse IAS Dugga was despatched to Arunachal Pradesh.
