More than three fire engines and over 10 ambulances have been deployed to rescue sufferers trapped contained in the hospital in the Gandhi Nagar space close to the Dindigul-Trichy freeway, a senior official stated.

Over 20 folks have been injured and many feared dead in a large fire at a non-public hospital in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday evening.

More than three fire engines and over 10 ambulances have been deployed to rescue sufferers trapped contained in the hospital in the Gandhi Nagar space close to the Dindigul-Trichy freeway, a senior official stated. 

According to Dindigul District Collector MN Poongodi, the sufferers have been rescued and admitted to different hospitals. “A fire broke out at a non-public hospital.

The sufferers right here have been rescued and admitted to close by authorities and personal hospitals. There might be some casualties, however we’ll affirm the variety of deaths solely after affirmation from medical doctors,” the District Collector stated. Further particulars are awaited.
