The bodily lessons in Noida had been suspended final week in view of dangerous ranges of air high quality within the area.
Amid heavy air air pollution within the Delhi-NCR area, the District Gautam Buddh Nagar has prolonged the suspension of bodily lessons (from pre-school to class 12) in all schools throughout Noida and Greater Noida within the district till November 25, an official order mentioned on Saturday. The bodily lessons had been suspended final week in view of dangerous ranges of air high quality within the area.
“In view of the instructions given by the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar on November 18, regarding the discontinuation of physical classes from pre-school to class 12 due to the breach of Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi-NCR to Severe+ category with (450+AQI), all schools of the District Gautam Buddh Nagar are directed to follow the above order till November 25,” acknowledged the order issued by Dharamvir Singh, District Inspector of Schools (DIOS).

Since final month, the National Capital Region, together with Noida and Greater Noida, has been grappling with ranges of air high quality which can be thought-about dangerous to human well being. The air high quality index in NCR has deteriorated to alarming ranges, with schools being ordered to change to on-line mode of lessons whereas workplaces are having staggered work hours in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
