The Delhi authorities introduced on Sunday that each one public, aided, and personal schools within the flood-affected elements of the capital metropolis will keep closed to college students till Tuesday, whereas courses will resume as standard in all different districts of the DoE on Monday.

“In view of flood relief camps likely to continue to run in schools in the areas bordering the river Yamuna, all govt, govt Aided, and private recognised schools in the affected Districts of DoE – East, North East, North West-A, North, Central & South East-will remain closed for students on 17th & 18th July,” the federal government mentioned. 

From Wednesday ahead, all Delhi districts’ schools will function usually.

The authorities has requested all of the schools to inform college students’ mother and father in regards to the closure. 

Schools can prepare on-line courses for the scholars nevertheless possible. 

“All schools (Govt., Govt. Aided & Private Recognised) within the remaining Districts of DoE (i.e. North West-B, West-A, West-B, South, South West-A, South West-B & New Delhi) shall remain open Monday (17.07.2023) onwards. The Head of Schools in these seven districts are at liberty to run in bodily mode or hybrid mode (i.e. both offline or on-line) as per the comfort of their college students,” the round mentioned.

The water stage within the (*18*) was reported at 206.02 meters at 8 am on Sunday as opposed to 207.58 meters yesterday morning, in accordance to the Delhi Flood Control Department.

As the water stage progressively recedes, it was reported that the state of affairs with waterlogging in quite a few low-lying elements of Delhi, particularly on roadways from Kashmere Gate to Majnu Ka Tila, has eased as we speak.
