A man allegedly killed his live-in partner in Bengaluru by hitting her with a pressure cooker after the couple had an argument on Saturday night. The police have arrested the man on Sunday. The couple reportedly lived at Mico Layout in Begur for the final two years.
The lady, recognized as Deva, hailed from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala whereas the boy, Vaishnav was from Kollam in Kerala. The neighbours have reportedly instructed the police that the duo used to quarrel typically however they didn’t file any complaints.
CK Baba, senior police officer of South Bengaluru instructed ANI, “Vaishnav had some doubts about the deceased, and they fought over it. On Sunday, this happened again, and he hit the woman with a cooker.”
After being on the run after the incident, Vaishnav was arrested by the police on Sunday and a homicide case has been registered. A police officer instructed the media, “We have arrested him and interrogation is on.”
Vaishnav was allegedly suspected of infidelity and therefore, the 2 had been combating, as per Indian Express’s experiences. On Saturday, Deva’s sister came over the couple and counselled them however after she left the 2 engaged in one other struggle. The struggle led to Vaishnav beating Deva with a pressure cooker a number of occasions until she died.
