An IAS and IPS officers amongst 5 individuals have been suspended on Tuesday for allegedly thrashing a hotel staff in Rajasthan’s Ajmer district, officers mentioned. The case investigation has been handed over to ADG vigilance. The incident got here to the fore after a video surfaced on social media the place some individuals have been seen thrashing workers of a hotel.
Those suspended have been recognized as Ajmer Development Authority Commissioner Giridhar, Officer on Special Duty (Gangapur metropolis police) Sushil Kumar Bishnoi, Patwari Narendra Singh Dahiya, constable Mukesh Kumar and LDC Hanuman Prasad Chaudhary, they mentioned.
The alleged incident occurred on the evening of June 11, following which case investigation was handed over to a senior police official. The hotel administration, in its grievance, alleged that an IPS officer together with three-four policemen had manhandled its staff late Monday evening.
A case has been registered in opposition to 5 unidentified individuals on the Gegal police station of the district for assaulting hotel staff. “We have handed over the case investigation to ADG Vigilance,” DGP Umesh Mishra mentioned.

The Rajput group has given a memorandum to Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) chairman Dharmendra Rathore on Tuesday, demanding motion in opposition to the police personnel in the case. OSD Bishnoi, who’s an accused in the matter, mentioned that the hotel workers have made false allegations.
