From November 18, in-person lessons have been shifted to on-line mode due to the ‘extreme plus’ air high quality index in Delhi.

Delhi schools are set to reopen on Friday hours after the Supreme Court permitted the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to shift to Stage Two restrictions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). The Directorate of Education (DoE) has issued a round asserting the resumption of bodily lessons in all authorities and personal schools in Delhi.

The round states, “All government, government-aided, and unaided recognised private schools under the DoE, NDMC, MCD, and Delhi Cantonment Board are required to conduct all classes in physical mode with immediate effect.”

The Supreme Court’s approval to implement Stage Two restrictions has led to the comfort of a number of curbs beforehand imposed under Stage Four. These embrace lifting of the ban on the entry of diesel-run medium and heavy automobiles (BS-IV or under) registered in Delhi, aside from these carrying important items. On November 17, in-person lessons have been shifted to on-line mode, aside from lessons X and XII, due to the ‘extreme plus’ air high quality index within the nationwide capital.

However, on November 18, offline lessons for lessons X and XII have been additionally moved on-line. Despite the easing of some restrictions, sure measures stay in impact under Stage Two.
