Big boost for Congress in Telangana as BRS MLA Kadiyam Kavya joins celebration, named Warangal candidate

Kavya and Srihari, who’s a sitting BRS MLA, joined the Congress on Sunday in the presence of Chief Minister and state Congress president A Revanth Reddy.

The Congress has introduced Kadiyam Kavya, daughter of former Telangana Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari, as its nominee from Warangal in the Lok Sabha polls.

The AICC introduced the candidature of Kadiyam Kavya on Monday evening.

Kavya and Srihari, who’s a sitting BRS MLA, joined the Congress on Sunday in the presence of Chief Minister and state Congress president A Revanth Reddy.

For varied causes, persons are shifting away from BRS. So, to serve the folks and to do one thing for the constituency, he’ll take a name (on becoming a member of the Congress celebration), Srihari had mentioned.

Kavya, who was BRS candidate from Warangal, had lately opted out of the competition citing current allegations of corruption and cellphone tapping towards the earlier Ok Chandrasekhar Rao-led regime.

Several senior leaders have stop BRS and joined both the ruling Congress or the BJP in Telangana in current weeks.

Polling in the final elections in Telangana would happen on May 13.
