An Indian Army vehicle was attacked in Jammu and Kashmir’s Gulmarg on Thursday night, i.e., October 24, leaving two soldiers injured.

Two porters working with the Indian Army had been killed on Thursday i.e., October 24 whereas 4 individuals, together with three soldiers, had been injured as terrorists attacked a military vehicle six kilometres from vacationer hotspot Gulmarg in north Kashmir, PTI reported. 

According to the report, terrorists opened hearth on the vehicle in the Botapathri space of Gulmarg, when it was headed for the Nagin put up in the Afrawat vary. The situation of two of the injured soldiers was acknowledged to be essential and extra troops have been rushed to the world, officers have stated. 

Notably, the assault comes simply hours after terrorists shot at and injured a labourer in Pulwama. 

The labourer has been recognized as Pritam Singh, a local of Uttar Pradedesh. This was the third such assault on non-locals in the valley in the previous week. 

Meanwhile, as many as seven individuals together with a health care provider and building labourers misplaced their lives as terrorists attacked a tunnel building website on the Srinagar-Leh nationwide freeway in the Ganderbal district on October 20. Several political leaders throughout partylines condemned the incident and paid condolences to the households of the deceased. 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah vowed that these concerned in the “heinous act” wouldn’t be spared. 

In a put up on ‘X’, Shah wrote, “The dastardly terror attack on civilians in Gagangir, J&K, is a despicable act of cowardice. Those involved in this heinous act will not be spared and will face the harshest response from our security forces. At this moment of immense grief, I extend my sincerest condolences to the families of the deceased. Praying for the speedy recovery of those injured.”

The assault came about whereas Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was on a go to to Delhi to carry a gathering with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister handed over to him a decision deamding restoration of statehood in the Union Territory – a long-pending demand of the opposition INDIA bloc.
