17 cars gutted as fire erupts at parking lot in Delhi

The swift response of eight fire fighters, who raced to the scene to douse the flames, is a testomony to the effectivity of our fire division.

A parking lot close to the Mandavali police station in the Madhu Vihar neighbourhood of Delhi was engulfed in a fire that consumed about eighteen to twenty cars. However, the incident, which occurred at 1:30 on a Wednesday night time, didn’t end result in any reported casualties. The swift response of eight fire fighters, who raced to the scene to douse the flames, is a testomony to the effectivity of our fire division.

Yashwant Meena, a Delhi Fire Service official, mentioned the fire incident and mentioned, “We received a call at about 1:30 am. There were several vehicles in the parking lot when the fire broke out. We sent eight fire tenders. About 18-20 vehicles were damaged in fire and we were able to save rest of them.”

Several cars which were fully destroyed by fire are seen in the photographs. At the scene of the incident, firefighters may also be seen making an attempt to place out the flames and cease them from spreading.

 

In a unique incident, a fire that began on Wednesday in the Chandni Chowk neighbourhood of north Delhi broken at least 5 shops. Officials instructed the PTI information company that no casualties or accidents had been reported from the incident. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official said that the 5 outlets that had been destroyed in the fire had been near Fatehpuri Masjid.
