A tragic incident involving a household from Moodbidri that confronted a devastating fire occurred in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. For the previous six months, Sheikh Fahad’s household, alongside along with his spouse Salma Kazi and their children, had been residing in Adama’s Al Husaini Compound near Lulu Mall.

For the previous six months, Sheikh Fahad’s household, alongside along with his spouse Salma Kazi and their children, had been residing in Adama’s Al Husaini Compound near Lulu Mall. 

Sayiq Sheikh, their two-year-old little one, tragically died from suffocation when a fire broke out whereas they have been sleeping. Sheikh Fahad, his spouse Salma, and their six-year-old son Shahid Sheikh suffered extreme smoke inhalation and have been rushed to a close-by hospital by vigilant native residents who observed smoke coming from their house. 

The fire is suspected to have been attributable to a fuel leak from the fridge. Sheikh Fahad, who had relocated to Saudi Arabia from Moodbidri, is the son of Samad, a revered footwear store proprietor in Moodbidri, and has established himself as a profitable businessman in Saudi Arabia.
