Israeli ministry announces new urban district plan for Gaza area city of Sderot

Israel’s Ministry of Construction and Housing has initiated a plan to determine a new urban district close to the practice station within the city of Sderot positioned simply north of Gaza. It was one of the cities attacked through the October 7 assault.

The plan consists of 5,000 new housing models, together with flats for college students, about 370,000 sq. meters for commerce and employment, about 350,000 sq. meters for public buildings and about 40 acres of open areas. The plan sees the complicated surrounding the practice station as a “central and significant focal point” within the area and strengthens it via the addition of residential, employment and industrial areas across the station.

Also, the plan emphasizes a high-quality public house with an lively entrance to encourage strolling and group exercise alongside the primary streets, and creates a new urban material connecting Sapir College to the south, to the practice station to the north and an interchange addition on the major entrance to the city.
