It’s all about the matchups for fantasy football. Who are 10 guys who should make big waves this week?

In fantasy football, Week 2 is when it all starts to come together. It’s when that first round pick you have puts everyone on notice as the guy who could take you to glory. It’s when that late addition, that waiver wire pickup or the trade your friend thought he won hands down, pays off.

Whether it’s the Rams runner who finds space when it seems impossible, or the ageless wonder who continues to do what he does regardless of the new crops of QBs or the defense built to win a championship, here’s 10 matchups to attack in Week 2.

No. 10 Nick Boyle vs. Cincinnati

We love tight ends. They don’t get enough love. Blocking tight ends would make this list if they could win you fantasy matchups. Boyle fits lower on this list but is a great match up with Flacco above him here. Three catches last week but going against the Cincinnati defense that gave up 124 yards and a touchdown and he just might sneak into a great game here.

Flacco is going to hit his main targets. Snead especially. The tight ends, on both sides here, could see extended time downfield and make big holes in the secondary seem all that much bigger. Think about Will Dissly last week, Jared Cook, etc. Defenses cover speed and when you have a running back that can catch in the flat or downfield, that’s one tough matchup to give for the tight end. Boyle is a low call but a matchup we’re watching nonetheless.
