Zerodha braces for up to 50% revenue hit

BENGALURU Even as brokerage agency Zerodha is witnessing its revenue and revenue plateau, it is bracing for a 30% to 50% hit in its revenue later this 12 months due to new laws relating to spinoff merchandise launched by Sebi.
The first rule, efficient Oct 1, is a ‘true to label’ round which requires market infrastructure establishments to be clear of their charging practices.Zerodha founder and CEO Nithin Kamath estimates that this can lead to a ten% discount in its revenues. The second rule, which is presently within the session stage, focuses on index derivatives.
