CHENNAI: Around 100 Samsung Electronics workers have been detained on Monday by police as they deliberate a march to the district collector’s workplace in Kancheepuram, close to Chennai. Several workers within the firm’s manufacturing unit at Sunguvarchatram in Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu have been on strike for a few week.
They earlier introduced a march to the collector’s workplace on Monday.Police detained round workers, together with senior labour representatives, as they didn’t have permission for the march. A piece of workers continued their demonstration exterior the corporate’s facility on Monday.
