Optiemus to invest Rs 140cr for drone manufacturing expansion


NEW DELHI: Optiemus Unmanned Systems, a subsidiary of electronics contract producer Optiemus Infra, will invest Rs 140 crore for increasing its drone manufacturing enterprise and providing it as a service for agricultural, mapping, and associated industries. The firm is localising elements and parts to obtain 75% indigenisation by the top of the fiscal, chairman Ashok Gupta mentioned.”We are set to leverage our expertise in drone technology to offer a cost-effective and efficient solution for agricultural and defence needs,” Gupta mentioned.
