NEW DELHI: Government’s move to denotify actual property house in IT SEZs partially will likely be a big reduction for developers and operators of such workplace parks as it’ll now enable them to lease workplace house in SEZ areas to even these IT corporations that aren’t concerned in export exercise.
The corporations working from SEZ had been getting I-T reduction below part 80I.But in 2019-20, the federal government withdrew the incentives. However, the IT corporations not working within the export markets weren’t allowed to function from SEZ. So, the current notification by the federal government will help developers scale back emptiness ranges at their SEZs, stated Prashant Thakur, regional director and head – analysis, ANAROCK Group.
