NEW DELHI: Commerce and business minister Piyush Goyal on Monday prompt that India may have its personal Silicon Valley and proposed a new township devoted to startups, the place an ecosystem might be created for entrepreneurs, incubators and different stakeholders to foster the concepts and implement them.

We should be aspiring to have our own Silicon Valley… I know Bengaluru is the Silicon Valley of India.But it’s time now we also started thinking in terms of may be tying up with NICDIC and creating a whole new township dedicated to entrepreneurs, startups, innovators, and disruptors, people will have ideas,” Goyal stated at an occasion to launch of Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) portal.
The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) is implementing the National Industrial Corridor programme, serving to create infrastructure to develop new industrial cities.
