Emami to acquire remaining 49.6% stake in ‘The Man Company’

NEW DELHI: Home-grown FMCG main Emami on Saturday introduced the acquisition of the remaining 49.6 per cent stake in Helios Lifestyle, which owns male grooming model ‘The Man Company‘. Helios Lifestyle is already a subsidiary of Emami with 50.4 per cent shareholding, in accordance to an announcement from Emami.
“The completion of the acquisition of Helios by Emami will strengthen its presence in the fast-growing digital-first premium male grooming segment,” it mentioned.
Emami had beforehand acquired 33.09 per cent fairness stake in Helios in two tranches — one in December 2017 and the opposite in February 2019. Later, it elevated the stake to 50.4 per cent in 2022.
The Man Company, a digital-first life-style model, gives premium males’s grooming merchandise in classes together with fragrances, skincare, hair care, physique care and beard administration.
“The segment offers huge potential for innovation & growth. Emami is already an active player in the male grooming segment through its brand Fair and Handsome,” the assertion mentioned.
