NEW DELHI: State-owned Canara Bank introduced on Sunday that its official X account was compromised. The financial institution urged its customers to avoid utilizing the handle till the situation is resolved. “Canara Bank would like to inform to all concerned that the bank’s official X (formerly Twitter) account has been compromised. All concerned teams are investigating the matter and working closely with X to regain access to Canara Bank X handle at the earliest,” the financial institution stated.
The financial institution suggested customers not to submit something on their X web page and guaranteed them that they might be notified as soon as the account is restored. “We urge users not to post anything on our X page. We will inform immediately when it is restored and working in Canara Bank controls,” the assertion added.
Meanwhile, Canara Bank requested customers to go to their nearest branches or use the official web site and on-line channels for extra data and companies.
