The world is looking at Indian brides for some serious wedding style inspiration and the desi brides are not leaving any stone unturned to set unique style trends every day. After slaying in the choicest of bridal lehengas, the brides are now focussing on unique mehendi art and believe is the brilliant henna ideas are out of this world. Today, we are featuring a bride who opted for the quirkiest mehendi design ever!
Butter Chicken with bhujia
Yes, you read that right! Sanchita Rajvanshi got married to Prasoon Kochchar in February this year and her mehendi design has now become the talk of the town. And, that’s because she asked the mehendi artist to mention three words while filling her hands with henna, the words being butter chicken with bhujia.
Well, the idea was apparently derived from the fact that Sanchita is a Bikarneri (read, hails from Rajasthan, which is famous for bhujia) while her groom is a Punjabi, who loves butter chicken!
The rest of the mehendi was the basic design popular with brides of today. The artist filled her hands with floral motifs, paisley motifs and traditional jaali.
The other thing that has caught up with brides is to get the name of their respective partners designed as part of the mehendi pattern.
Also popular are mehendi hashtags which comprise the bride and groom’s name or the wedding hashtag of the couple.
We are in love with these new mehendi ideas, tell us what do you think of them in the comment section below.
