Former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik and a few Khap leaders staged a protest at a police station in Delhi on Saturday, after they had been stopped from holding a gathering at an element within the southern district. The police had requested them to disperse within the absence of permission from the authorities. Malik has made headlines together with his explosive claims in regards to the Pulwama assault and the CBI’s summons over an alleged insurance coverage rip-off.

Malik stated he and his supporters had gone to the RK Puram Police Station claiming he was stopped from offering meals to Khap leaders on the public park. They left the police station within the afternoon.

The assembly was referred to as by Malik and a gaggle of Khap leaders. However, nobody was scheduled to handle the assembly on the venue. Farmer chief Gurnam Singh Chaduni stated there was no violation of guidelines within the assembly.

A police officer informed PTI that the assembly was happening in RK Puram and the ex-governor was informed that he hadn’t taken permission for a similar. He had come of his personal volition.

The Delhi Police stated Malik wasn’t detained. He was knowledgeable that he might go away at his personal will, stated DCP Manoj C.

Malik stated he solely wished to supply meals to those leaders as he did not have a lot area in the home.

“I don’t have much space in my house, so I decided to give them food here (at the park). They (police) have orders from somewhere not to allow the gathering and let me give them the food. I told them ‘arrest me and I am coming with you’.”

Chaduni stated since there was no speech, there was no violation of guidelines.

“I fail to understand why we were not allowed by police to hold the meeting as there was no scheduled speech of any farmer leaders there. Malik ji wanted to serve food to farmer leaders at the park. Where is the violation of rules in this.”

Earlier, the police stated he was not detained.

The CBI has requested Malik to seem in reference to the alleged insurance coverage rip-off. This would be the second time he will likely be questioned in reference to the case.

In an interview, Malik had questioned the way in which the federal government dealt with the Pulwama assault.
