NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday morning was seen plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu. The exercise lasted for over 30 minutes.
“Also handed over my ‘collection’ to Jeyaraj, who is a part of the hotel staff. Let us ensure our public places are clean and tidy! Let us also ensure we remain fit and healthy,” the PM tweeted.

Last month, the PM had urged the people to participate in two-km-long runs to promote plogging across the country starting October 2.
For the uninitiated, plogging is derived from the word jogging and it involves participants picking up litter as they jog.
