Despite the pandemic, Bollywood celebrities found their way out and shot from their respective homes. Now, after about six months, they have officially resumed shooting of their pending and new projects in a controlled and protective environment.
Actors like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, and others have been giving their fans a sneak peek into their shooting life in the new normal on social media. In case you missed, here we give you a rundown of pictures of your favourite actors on the sets of their films after lockdown.
02/7‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’
Salman Khan resumed shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’, and took to Instagram to share an on-set photo. In the photo featured the superstar, wearing a jacket with his back facing the camera. Apart from him, other actors from the film like Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, and Randeep Hooda too have been sharing glimpses of their set life after the lockdown. While Disha shared a selfie with her team, Jackie featured in the BTS video shared by the team.
‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ was shot at studios in Karjat and Mumbai with safety precautions in place. The makers wrapped up the film today.
The Prabhudheva directorial was supposed to hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid this year. However, the film was postponed indefinitely owing to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.

Kangana Ranaut has resumed shooting for her upcoming film ‘Thalaivi’, a biopic on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, after a break of seven months. She was shooting for the project in Chennai last year and at the beginning of the year.
The actress also shared some pictures from the sets of the movie. In the pictures, Kangana is seen engaged in a conversation with director AL Vijay. The actress revealed in her caption that she was discussing an early morning scene with the filmmaker. In another monochrome picture, the actress is seen shooting a political scene where she is seen wearing a mask before the camera starts rolling.
The film also features Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Poorna, Madhoo in key roles.

Akshay Kumar became the first actor to resume shooting of his film, ‘Bell Bottom’ and travel abroad to complete the shoot of the same with his entire cast and crew. The actor shot for the film in Scotland and recently returned to the country after completing the film.
While he was shooting in Scotland, some on-set pictures of the actor made its way to the internet and did rounds on social media. In the pictures, Akshay was seen sporting two different looks for the film. His moustache complimented his retro look.
Akshay revealed in an interview that there was an on-set doctor who was looking into the vitals of all the crew members on a daily basis. He mentioned that the entire team would take a mandatory COVID-19 test every 15 days.
‘Bell Bottom’ also features Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutt, and Huma Qureshi in key roles. It is scheduled to release in theatres on April 2, 2021.

Arjun Kapoor had tested positive for the coronavirus recently. But he took to his Instagram some days ago to share his joy of resuming work after finally testing negative for the coronavirus. He shared some on-set images of him from the sets of the film.
In one picture, the actor is seen enacting a scene with his team around him, while in another one he is seen reading a script.
He will next be seen sharing screen space with Rakul Preet Singh. The film also features Neena Gupta in a key role.

The cast of filmmaker Priyadarshan’s ‘Hungama 2’, including Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Meezaan, had jetted off to Manali, Himachal Pradesh, to resume shooting for the comedy film. Shilpa also shared a few pictures and videos of herself from the sets of the movie with her fans.
On day 1 of the shoot, she had shared a funny boomerang video from her make-up and hair session. She gave her fans a glimpse of the sanitisation process on the sets. She is dressed for the shot while all others are in blue PPE suits.
The makers today called it a wrap for the film and the actress was seen sharing pictures of herself in a plane as she made her way back to Mumbai.

After a gap of seven months, SS Rajamouli’s much-talked-about movie, ‘RRR’ is back on track as the makers resumed the shooting of the movie recently. The ace filmmaker took to his Twitter handle to share a video of his team resuming shoot on the sets of the film.
In the video, the makers showed the detailed process of the sanitization and precautionary measures taken on the film’s sets. The video ended on a dramatic note with mere glimpses of Jr NTR as Bheem and Ram Charan as Ramaraju – their faces are not revealed.
The film also stars Bollywood actors like Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in key roles. ‘RRR’ is expected to hit screens on January 8, 2021.
