Meghan Markle may have moved on — but it looks like her ex-husband is hanging on to her every movie.
Trevor Engelson, who was married to Markle from 2011 to 2013, is creating a fictional TV show based on the royal family, which seems to have some truth to it.
The untitled Fox project, which Engelson serves as a producer, follows a former married couple after the woman marries a British prince and the ex-husband shares custody of their child with the royal family.
Engelson, 40, and Markle, 36, have no children together and the comedy is supposed to be fiction. However, sources told Deadline that the idea came to be after Engelson and producer Dan Farah had a discussion about what it would be like if Engelson and Markle did have kids and had to share custody with her new beau Prince Harry someday.

Danny Zuker, a producer on “Modern Family,” is also involved in the series.
The “Suits” star and Prince Harry, 33, reportedly began dating last fall and the news of the relationship went public in October 2016.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Markle said the two are certainly in love and trying to keep their relationship to themselves as much as possible when the subject of such public attention.
